The small sized IoT system-on-module (SoM) combines prepaid cellular connectivity with low-power design for secure communications
The Notecard
Facilitating quick IoT connection from any device to a cloud is a small 30mm x 35mm system on module (SoM) called the Notecard from Blues Wireless.
The integrated, low-power cellular device is powered by the ARM Cortex-M4 MCU with 2MB Flash. A high-performance 3-axis accelerometer and temperature sensor along with an embedded SIM having pre-provisioned network access assist in high-performance cellular and GNSS/GPS functionality.
Key features

GNSS/GPS and global cellular over LTE-M, NB-IoT, or Cat-1
Low-power hardware (~8uA) and power-conscious firmware
500MB of data and 10 years of connectivity included
Secure, off-the-Internet, data communications

In case of unavailability of LTE-M, NB-IoT, or Cat-1, the Notecard is also supported by UMTS/HSPA+ and GSM/GPRS/EDGE wireless standards.
Companion or accelerator boards called Notecarriers accompany the Notecard for easily prototyping and deploying IoT solutions.
Available starter kits include the Feather Starter Kit for ESP32, Feather Starter Kit for Swan and Raspberry Pi Starter Kit.
