Facilitate Performance testing, Calibration testing, Environmental testing of sensors and components.
Develop and maintain test standards, interface with Tech Centers, Designing and developing engineering test equipment or procuring and managing purchased test capital to maintain test readiness.
Support sensor testing. Manage lab facilitates and operations, Developing and executing product and system design verification test plans.
Using structured processes / management operating system (MOS) to manage results, including overall goals for productivity, cycle time, and cost reduction.
Providing support to modify or rework electronic prototypes during the test and debug cycle.
Establishing and maintaining a verification test metrics dashboard for visual management and to measure process efficiency and applying a management system to check and act on the metrics.
Developing a system that establishes daily management of projects.
Managing workforce skill set and capacity to ensure effective design resources for near and long-term needs.
Facilitate the team in maintaining documents traceability and ensure ISO17025 accreditation audits.
Understand and apply standards (UL, EN, FCC etc.) and Honeywell internal processes
Organize, identify and maintain all test fixtures. Optimizing verification test infrastructure
Selecting and managing third party testing services.

Operate & maintenance of Environmental Chambers & Automated test System

Skill Requirement

Should interact with vendors & FAEs and do follow ups with them

Technical support to Purchase in equipment vendor identification
Testing Knowledge on the Industrial Switches, Pressure switches, Pressure sensors &
Thermal sensor
Good understanding of MS excel and macros analysis
Responsible for equipment integration
Possess sound knowledge on sensors, PLCs, Oscilloscopes, Function generators,
Knowledgeable for calibration activities
Accurate data collection & reporting of results both written and verbal
Maintain test equipment (repair, cleaning, preventative)
Maintain a clean and professional work area
Knowledge of basic electrical, electronic concepts
Maintain records on work performed
Maintain supplies needed for testing components, defining critical parts needed
Cooperate with other laboratories within and outside the division
Seek continual measurable quality improvements
Actively support / promote quality as #1 operating priority
Make effective use of equipment.
Establish and / or use appropriate test and work procedure
Maintain current and complete data sheets
Conversant with Thermal chambers and maintenance aspects. Understand TPM principles to maximize the uptime of test equipment.

Additional Qualifications

Have a fundamental understanding of product development, manufacturing, simulation methods and techniques, FMEA and other engineering principles.
Have a working knowledge of project management techniques; utilize project management tools to load/balance resources, define critical paths and risk mitigation plans.
Previous experience with test lab management, test equipment design, test plan development and test implementation on development hardware.
Demonstrated capability to define and drive effective Engineering processes.
Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to interact successfully with all levels of management as well as global teams.
Ability to energize, develop, and build rapport at all levels within an organization.
Ability to multi-task and stay organized.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
